Social inequality is another problem. Rich gives out more powerful votes than the poor. Which doesn't give meaning to the equal right to vote.

There's also other flaws like corruption and bribery at times which isn't equal

Political parties related to religion exists as well. For eg: A political party for the majority religion will be voted by the majority. like BJP
