Pressure can be determined as:

P = nRT /V

Where, n is number of mole

R is gas constant

T is temperature

Ethane, M = 30 g/ mol

Hydrogen, M = 2 g/ mol

P (hydrogen) = (m RT)/(2 V)

P (Ethane) = (m RT)/(30 V)

P (hydrogen) / P (ethane) = 15

Thus, ideal pressure exerted by hydrogen is 15 times to that on ethane.
