hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

given the side of the square is 64cm.

perimeter of the square = side × 4

= 64 × 4

= 256cm

therefore perimeter of the rectangle is also 256cm

=> 2 ( l + b ) = 256cm

=> 2 ( 70 + b ) = 256cm

=> 140 + 2b = 256cm

=> 2b = 256 - 140

=> 2b = 116

=> b = 116/2

=> b = 58cm

VERIFICATION:-

perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 70 + 58 )

= 2 × 128

= 256cm

hence verified

thus the breadth of the rectangle is 58cm.

now,

area of the square = side²

= 64 × 64

= 4096cm²

area of the rectangle = l × b

= 70 × 58

= 4060cm²

area of square photo of land is more by = 4096 - 4060

= 36cm²

hope this helps u..!

perimeter of square = perimeter of the rectangle

perimeter of square = S x S
                                =64 x 64
                                =4096
equate the perimeter of square to rectangle to find its breadth.
 perimeter=2 x [l+b]
4096=2 x [70+b]
4096/2 = 70+b
2048-70=b
1978=b
now u know how to find the area
