Dear student..
Animals with an internal skeleton made of bone are called vertebrates. Some examples of

vertebrates animals
are humans, marsupials -- koala, kangaroo, wombats --, reptiles -- alligators, crocodiles, lizards --, primates -- gorillas, monkeys, orangutans --, birds, seals, whales, dolphins, porpoises, most species of fishes, and rodents. All mammals are vertebrates.

An invertebrate is the basic opposite of a vertebrate. Invertebrates do not have backbones. Some examples of invertebrates are mollusks -- snail, mussel, quahog, squid, octopus, nautilus --, echinoderms -- starfish and sea urchins --, arachnids, crustaceans -- lobsters and crabs --, all insects, annelids -- worms and leeches -- protozoa and jellyfish.

The main difference between

vertebrates and invertebrates
are that vertebrates have backbones, while invertebrates do not. Other differences are that vertebrates have highly developed brains, while most invertebrates do not. Invertebrates are slow moving, and sometimes small, while most vertebrates are faster, and sometimes larger in size than invertebrates. 98% of animal species are invertebrates, meaning that 2% of animal species are vertebrates. Make as brainliest plz.. Cheers!

1. The chordates which posses a backbone are called vertebrates.
2.The chordates which doesn't posses a backbone are called as invertebrate.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
