Corruption has become a real problem in many public offices. Everyone knows it's a crime, But people don't often see anyone being punished for it. So it seems it's continuing . It's not the desire for money of people who take money, But the people who give has a major role in this. 

India having won it's independence long back in 1947 , is yet to prove itself in terms of economy and development. Till now, We are waiting that India would be developed country someday. But now it's high time every citizen will have to fight for it. With the rate of rupee fluctuating constantly, We got to start thinking about our economy. 

The ways we can reduce the corruption : 

1 . Making laws which would be punish all errs in this regard. 

India has laws that punish those who appreciate corruption or those who participate in it. But it's more that they don't eventually get punished but do more with freedom. 

2 . Laws to punish officers and remove them permanently if involved in corruption. 

We also should make laws punishing the officers and At the present times, The officers would be suspended for some days. They stay at home and still get paid. So there's not much of impact on those who participate in corruption . 

3 . Increasing Working efficiency by hiring more people and adding more salaries as part of appreciation. 

We must also look at why corruption is done. It's all because There are many works which officers need to finish. So, People to get their work done on priority participate in corruption. Adding more people, Work load will get decreased . Also, Increasing salaries for those who work efficiently would also make them work genuinely. 

4. Creating awareness to people and adding Security systems in Offices. 

All people are however not known regarding corruption is a crime. So educating might help to eradicate it. And Government of India must also provide Security cams at offices so that everything happening in the office is under control. 

Doing all these will surely help us eradicate corruption and build a new India. Corruption can be stopped when you stop giving bribes but not when they stop receiving. So As a citizen of India, Be righteous to the country and fulfill your duties as a Indian citizen.

The act of corruption originated from the time of the British rule in India. The people used to bribe the officials to get their job done.

There are various reasons for corruption in India.

Corruption-free country:

The country's economy is greatly reduced due to corruption. The money is often non-taxable and is stored as black money.  

Steps should be taken in order to stop corruption if the country needs to develop. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  

Steps to eradicate corruption:

  • Reformation of the public administrative law
  • Ending impunity
  • Providing transparency to the information according to RTI
  • Restrict regulations for international business.
  • Educate and empowering the people about the effects of corruption.
  • Strong banking laws

The country is filled with talent and resources, it can reach higher levels and make the country better. The inflation and the value of the money also increases.

It is not the role of security personnel or income tax department to eradicate corruption. Every citizen should take responsibility to eradicate corruption from the country and help in building a corruption-free new India.
