Celebrating festivals with friends and neighbors is always fun. One festival that comes to my mind while celebrating with friends and neighbors is Holi. This colorful festival of Holi can only be enjoyed when there are a lot of people. The larger the group, the merrier. The celebrations start the previous day evening when the bonfire is lit. All of us, the old and young alike gather around the bonfire to burn Holika, the demons which depict the triumph of good over evil. The entire colony gathers around the pyre and after that is over we have an annual dinner get together. It is such fun that everyone of us try to get together that night. The next day is another day of fun and frolic with the colors all over the place. This is one festival which cannot be fun without friends and neighbours.
