Sometimes heart sees what eyes cannot see
This is a well known quote by H. Jackson Brown. This quote refers that emotions and feelings are only understood by heart. Our eyes cannot see the kindness and loyalties but our heart surely does. Our eyes work only with the brain and helps us see, but the inclusion of heart in the human body, not only circulates blood, but also completes our vision.
Most of us do believe that god does exist, but has anyone seen him? Obviously the answer is No, but we all feel with our own heart that God resides in this world and is responsible for the good and bad happening. If the question is raised, do you believe in God, most of us do say yes. But if someone says, since our eyes did not view the God, the God is not present, most of us wouldn't agree, as our heart sees it.
Friendship, love, affection, care, faithfulness, truthfulness .... are all the emotions and feelings observed by are heart, but not by our eyes. Eyes can see only the physical state of something, but our heart is capable of viewing the emotional state and feelings.
With our eyes, we can see that a person has a pretty smile and always happy, but only our heart can understand the deep and lonely side, which cannot be perceived by our brain and eyes. The level of understanding and bonding can only increase when our heart possess the capability of understand inner feelings.
Let us take a story to understand better:
Saru a poor boy lived in the city of Vishakapatanam. He always wandered around the streets of Vizag. One fine day, before his father's birthday, Saru with his Mom visited a cake shop to surprise their father. With a lot of difficulty they could save about 50/-. Over there, the boy saw a lovely cake of chocolate flavor with vanilla iced on it. The mom asked the keeper,
" What is the price of this cake?"
The keeper replied " Only 100/- Madam"
The boy and the mom turned sad, they were about to leave, just then a man came inside, who was a complete stranger and paid the remaining 50/-. The mom refused to take the money, and he just replied " The heart sees what my eyes cannot see" and went away. The boy gave a sweet surprise to his father.
The above story depicts the kindness and emotional feeling towards the boy and the mother of the stranger which arose the will to help the mother and the son. The stranger's eyes would have only showed that they were mother and son, who were quite poor, but his heart helped the family and organize a pleasant birthday surprise.

"Sometimes, the heart sees what is invisible to the eye" - H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
Once, a young man was parked in his car, checking something on his phone. He noticed an old lady walking towards his car, holding a large shopping bag. She may have been seventy or eighty. Her forehead was beaded with perspiration and she was breathing heavily. She slowly put out her hand to lean on his car. The young man took pity on her, gently opened the door and offered her a bottle of water. The old lady looked cautious all of a sudden, shook her head and walked away. The young man felt very bad and sat there, wondering how he had offended the lady. Suddenly, there was a tap on his window. The old lady was back with a packet of biscuits. He opened the door again. The old lady slowly lowered herself onto the seat and offered the man the biscuits. In turn, he gave her his bottle of water. Together, she drank, he ate and they smiled. After a couple of minutes, the old lady got out of the car, but not before placing her hands on the young man's head and blessing him. Those few minutes of silence gave them both a snatch at tranquillity. She left with a smile on her face and he was left with an incredible feeling of peace.
This is a true story. It isn't a very grand one; there is no twisted plot nor is there a big moral in it. But, it is evidence as to how two completely unfamiliar individuals can connect even without conversation. One can even say that they spoke through their hearts and not their voices. They each may have judged the other wrongly in the beginning but then, allowed themselves to listen to the voice of their hearts instead of jumping to conclusions about each other. Because of that, they got to share a rich and meaningful experience with each other.
As human beings, we are very dependent on our emotions. Our emotions can sustain, rejuvenate, restrain and dishearten us. As emotional beings, it is hardly a surprise that we can communicate effectively without using language or even gestures. I believe it is more beautiful to be able to connect through the heart than only through the mind. All our relationships (whether it be friendship, marriage or between parents and children) gain more depth and meaning when we learn to connect with our hearts. Our loved one may force a smile on his/her face to keep us happy, but we must learn to look beyond what we see on the face and to understand what is inside their heart to let them feel that we love and care for them. Some people may look very angry but they might be crying for help inside. Some others may look very happy but they might be screaming inside their head. Sometimes, people may look very innocent but their intentions may be far from it. Thus, our hearts can help us to know the truth about people and prevent us from jumping to hasty conclusions and judging them wrongly.
I feel that many times, our hearts are cleverer than our eyes. We can sense how people really are if we carefully observe them and follow our intuition. I think that the world may be a better place if we all learn to balance the voices of our hearts along with what we see in person
