Where I went to school and lived for many years, I was steeped in culture. From the beautiful, majestic waters to the traditional music heard from the cobbled alleys to the wild lakes and country scenery. Although I cannot see these sights everyday, I am so fortunate to have experienced such raw beauty. Hidden behind mountains and overlooking the untamed ocean, this small town is a place where nobody wants to leave and everybody wants to remain. The people here cherish their surroundings, their love of their home is clear in their smiles and eyes as they welcome tourists each day with glowing hearts and open arms. The people of the area speak their own language which dates back to the Celtic ages; history and present day are always connected. The future of this town is definite; it will remain a place where culture is prominent and where people flock to in search an escape; a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary and the extraordinary
