Be Logical in Practical Life
Thomas H. Huxley has rightly said: "Irrationally held truths may be more harmful than reasoned errors." Reason and logic are the most potent and effective faculties one can have. Logic is the hallmark of experienced, seasoned, learned men and women. The contemporary times are highly competitive times. Everyone is busy and engrossed in securing a career, profit, some position in life. In this rat race there is every possibility of being fleeced by competitive men and women if one does not use logic and pragmatism. Logic means having sensible and enough control over one's emotions and passions. We can say logic is a type of emotional intelligence. We must have this emotional wisdom if we have to live happily in the present cut-throat competitive world.
One can see many instances of people suffering who didn't use logical approach. For instance, the manufacturing companies offer many luring offers of purchases on credit. These offers are a trap for the emotional customers who later have to pay exorbitant amount of interest on such purchases. However, the logical persons see through the offer. They weigh the financial pros and cons about such offers very carefully. Thus logic saves the people much mental anguish which the emotional people suffer. So it is always better to use logic. Depend upon logic, it is a time-tested faculty, which only the wise people possess. Be wise. Be logical. Not only in money matters, or business deals, one must use logic in dealing with other situations also. Logic will always help you strike the best of deals.
