Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, sometimes called "Chacha Nehru", the first Prime Minister of India.
Children's Day is celebrated to honor children globally aiming at protecting them from working long hours in dangerous circumstances and allowing access to rightful education.
The cultural programmes, events and activities especially for children are the main attraction of Children's day. In India,Children's day is celebrated on the 14th November every year. As a tribute Children's Day is celebrated on the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday.

Every year 14 th of November is celebrated as National Children's Day throughout the country. This is because it is the birthday of our former prime minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. He loved children very much. He wanted that his birthday would be celebrated as "Children's Day" everyyear.

Well children's Day is an amazing day . All the parents, teachers and others celebrated children's Day in great manner as that of Teachers Day, student's day etc.

And everyday is special for us. But still children's Day is having a great virtue in the lives of children. We all children enjoy on this day very much.

The main motive of celebrating children's Day is to make childhood a perfect stage of life and to spread happiness among all .
