Corona Warriors of Gujarat

                In the year 2020, a tremendous virus spread throughout the world, named the Covid-19. How it was formed, its origin, its antidote, and its preventive medicines, nothing was known to the doctors and the research teams. Huge numbers of people began to be hospitalized, and there came a time when finding a bed in the hospital became an ordeal.

              To prevent the further spread of this deadly disease, the government called for a complete lockdown, and everything just stopped in its tracks. However, the work went on to fight this virus. While the general mass tried to stay safe at home, the 'covid warriors' fought day and night in close proximity to the virus to save us all.

             All over the country, as in Gujarat, the medical teams, scientists, and police worked in full swing despite the risk to their lives. The Gujarat Chief Minister also considered the 'crematorium employees' to be corona warriors since they also had to handle bodies affected by the virus on a daily basis.

             Many relief teams arose in Gujarat to help the people in their needs during the lockdown. One of them is Team Sahaay, which was formed during the second wave and helped the masses with ambulances, oxygen cylinders, ventilators, and so on.

              The Gujarat government took full force in spreading nutrition and food to the people during the lockdown when many lost their jobs and sat idle and without money.

                 The Gujarat government has been constantly asking people to take preventive measures seriously and sending notices urging people to take the vaccination jab. Although the number of cases has decreased today, the government still asks the people to wear masks, maintain social distance, and prevent this deadly virus from locking us down again.
