The cruelty towards the animals has increased after an illegal slaughter house got opened in our locality. Ever since the slaughter house has come into being the goats and pigs are mercilessly brought there with their limbs tied with ropes. The shrieks of the tortured animals are so appalling that it has compelled me to write to you for the protection of the said animals.

Cruelty towards the animals is a heinous crime and is punishable by law.
