The hour hand of the clock moved to 1 and the minute hand moved to twelve. The sun shone bright and hot in the middle of the sky. In this scorching heat when people should have been at home they were iutside on the road. One could see bus, audi, nano, innova, very few yellow taxis and many ola and uber.The signal seemed to be red forever. There was a large number of cars and busses and bikes lined up behind the signal.Honking was what the drivers did as a hobby waiting for the signal to turn green. People crossed the road from all directions holding umbrellas over their heads.The windows of every car was pulled up probably the Ac was on . But the crowded busses that did not have any arrangements for Ac were a pitiful sight. The dogs on the streets were in a similar condition. The very few trees that could be see here and there at the corners of the roads had made up their most nds not to move a single leaf.
