It aims to give India a digital push for good governance and more jobs. The PM of India has tried his best towards digitizing campaign for India in order to bridge the gap between government services and people. Digitization was the need to be implemented in India for bright future and grow more than any other developed country. Following are the benefits of digital India campaign:
It makes possible the implementation of digital locker system which in turn reduces paper work by minimizing the usage of physical documents as well as enabling e-sharing through registered repositories.
It is an effective online platform which may engage people in governance through various approaches like “Discuss, Do and Disseminate”.
It ensures the achievement of various online goals set by the government.
It makes possible for people to submit their documents and certificates online anywhere which reduces physical work.
Through e-Sign framework citizens may digitally sign their documents online.

For better management of online services on mobile such as voice, data, multimedia, etc, BSNL’s Next Generation Network will replace 30-year old telephone exchange.
National Centre for Flexible Electronics will help in the promotion of flexible electronics.
Large scale deployment of Wi-Fi hotspots has been planned by the BSNL all across the country.

Digital India offers many services like digi locker etc where people can store their important data , information securely , this idea was supported by many companies and they are also helping us in making our country digital.
Providing WIFI to remotes places in villages with the help of drone etc and this has helped India by generating jobs , reducing the cost of import for all the necessary equipment.
Digital Technologies include Cloud Computing and Mobile Applications which has emerged as main reason for the rapid economic growth and citizen empowerment all over the world and this will happen in India too in the future with the help of digital India
Digital India will change the face of many states for example Himachal Pradesh where many basic things such as health care system, education, online business and even the vidhan sabha of the state has been changed a lot. Due to digital India people who do online banking has also increased to a very large extent
Digital India has the mission of making India digitally empowered and literate and all the services will be given online which made people to get information easily and in all languages , it wants all the services be available to its citizens digitally which will make our country empowered and more developed economy.
