An idiom is an expression or a phrase used to express, a figurative meaning or something different from the actual literal meaning. Some idioms can be transparent and their meaning will get through if they are taken (or translated) literally. However, idioms may confuse those who are unfamiliar with them
When we hear the idiom "easy come, easy go" being used, the message can be conveyed in two ways and they that is: 1) a person who is usually easy to get along with and 2) it refers to someone who earns something (usually money) easily i.e. without much effort being made, and also loses it as quickly as he gains it.
For example: Rakesh found Rs 100 in the morning and finished it all up by the evening. Therefore we use the idiom "Easy come, easy go".
This phrase is often used to describe the nature or character of a person.

                                         Easy Come Easy Go

Some wise man has rightly said, “What comes easy won’t last, what lasts won’t come easy.” The famous saying pithily sums up life’s most important lesson. Anything achieved easily won’t last long. Anything attained industriously through assiduous endeavours will last for eternity. Wise men have frequently given us hints. One of the very early messages was in the scriptures. In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, chapter 3, verse 19 “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

All great men and women who transformed the world with their creativity, innovations, and visions were exceedingly industrious and through tireless strivings created their beauties to adorn the world. Shakespeare, Newton, Lincoln, Einstein, Louis Pasteur, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Yogananda, Mother Teresa, Emerson, Dickens, and many more (the list is endless) taught us with their own lives taught the mankind to achieve success through perseverance and dedication.

So in life never go after things that are achievable easily; go after things that are worth striving for and the things that matter. The temptation to take the easy path will be quite luring and enticing. Resist the temptation and take the narrow and challenging path to eternal happiness. If you ever get tempted, do remind yourselves: “What comes easy won’t last, what lasts won’t come easy.”
