essay on home at a distant planet
Answers
Answer:
Home at a Distant Planet
Life conditions on earth have been unceasingly worsening since the beginning of the twentieth century. This happened in the wake of industrialization and urbanization. If this degradation of the planet earth goes on unabated like this, the day is not far when the life system on earth will utterly collapse.
Some visionaries have already started planning to establish human settlements on distant planets. Mars is the most promising distant planet for humans to start their venture to set up colonies there. Work has already commenced in countries such as America, France, Russia, India, and China to settle a few human beings on the red planet.
I am also intrigued to go to the red planet for many reasons. If I got the opportunity and means to voyage to Mars to settle there, I would certainly try to make Mars totally earthlike for no planet can support life as wonderfully as earth does. However, paradise-like earth has been converted into hell by man’s follies. If I were among the first humans to live on Mars, I would ensure no such follies be carried on Mars.
The first thing I would do, would be to create pure environment on Mars; the kind of environment that existed on earth almost 1000 years ago. Then I would create rivers, oceans, forests, and other natural resources needed for human life. I would not like any carnivorous animals on Mars. I would only allow gentle animals such as hares, sheep, goats, birds, deer, etc. They would live and die their natural death merging into the elements.
The one thing that I would take care of the most would be the human species. I would allow only godly human beings to live on Mars. Human beings that would love and respect life. I would not allow any human being with savage, barbaric, and crude thoughts and emotions. Those godly human beings would always work together to achieve better goals of mankind taking their guidance from the Universal God.
Thus I would live peacefully in a remote Martian valley, enjoying peace, silence, serenity, and purity of the place. Devoid of barbaric and less civilized human beings, Mars would become a literal Paradise of peace, progress, and plenty.
