         The talent and potential that the youngsters of India have are unparalleled. It is no doubt that India become a sports superpower. But we need to make an organized and combined effort to understand where we are going wrong and what necessary actions we should take so that we can achieve this long cherished dream.

          First and the foremost requirement is that the government and corporates should invest a good amount of money in the infrastructure. This is because our facilities are not enough to replicate the actual field where the sportspersons will play. This is a huge drawback as they are devoid of the basic tactics of the field.

          To encourage greater participation in sports, it is necessary that sports offer a sustained means of livelihood. It is only then children from a young age will opt for sports as their career. More and more academies should offer sports management courses.

         Another important step in achieving this goal is by helping people to perceive sports as a lucrative career. This can be achieved by the commercialization of sports by marketing companies and agencies.

         In such an immensely populous country as ours, developing sports culture is very important. Every talent should be given a chance. No potential should be left unexplored.
