Diwali is the festival of lights, a celebration of the victory of good over evil and the removal of darkness from this world. We all celebrate it with so much of excitement and enthusiasm, but there are some people who could not afford to celebrate this like us. So, this Diwali me and some of my friends decided to form a group and to do something for the children living in the slums this Diwali. We knew that most of the children are not getting proper medical care because they do not have enough money. So, we decided that instead of buying new dresses and crackers we would collect this money and would give it to the parents of those children for medical help. Our group had 10 members and each one of us contributed 2000 rupees to the fund. We had collected 20,000 rupees and gave it to the parents. In this way we did something special for the children living in the slums. Our this move also helped us not to contribute in the rising pollution of the city
