Ganpati vacation is the best time of the year as it gives me a chance to relax and explore new things. It gives me an opportunity to take a break from my daily study routine and adopt new hobbies like gardening, dancing and painting, while also having fun with friends.The festival is popularly known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, which is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha.it is celebrated as a symbol of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. So I was very excited to enjoy with my family and friends.My cousins were also there. We had so much fun there.We decorated our houses with lighting and flowers.Then I went to the market with my family to bought some new clothes & sweets. I got some sweets for my cousins, neighbours, friends. So, we worship the Lord Ganesha for welfare, prosperity and wisdom.I celebrated this festival very differently this time. I decided to gift oxygen. I planted a tree and challenged my friends to plant a tree too.

Lord Ganesha puja is said to evoke the blessings of these deities.The preparation for the festival commences many days prior to the festival. It starts with the thorough cleaning of houses and shops. Many people also discard all the old household items and get all the renovation work done before the onset of the festival. But when I time comes we'll feel free and forgot all those tiredness and filled with joy.

And hence, it is one of my favourite festival!
