Answer:

I am where my thoughts are

It is a universal truth we are where our thoughts are. Most of the time we feel we are where our body is; but it is not so. Actually we are where our mind is. Mind is the place where thoughts are born every second. It is estimated an average man thinks sixty-thousand thoughts a day. And more often than not, most the time our mind is far away from where we are physically.

Hence, wise men advise us to control our thoughts. We should learn a lesson from this principle of ‘I am where my thoughts are’. Particularly, students can make use of it. Usually, their thoughts are always not with them. While sitting in classrooms, they are indulging in reveries. While in reveries, they miss what is going on in the class.

Our efficiency is at its best when our thoughts are with our body. Miracles happen when thoughts and body work together. All great performers keep their thoughts where they physically are.

So word of advice for those, who want to have complete control over their thoughts is they must watch them. That is, while doing an activity, they should be aware of their thoughts and the moment they wander or ramble, they must bring them back on the task. One must keep one's goals always in front of him. This also helps in keeping the focus. Initially if one's progress is slow, one must not be disappointed. With perseverance, training, meditation and breathing exercises, complete control over focus is possible.

I am where my thoughts are:

When a person thinks about something, then the person is attracted to the things that are similar to the thoughts. When a person is sad then the person prefers to be in a environment that supports or comforts the sad thoughts. When a person is raged then the person prefers a environment that supports his/her rage. This may hurt the people around them physically or emotionally. The thoughts can majorly influence the productivity of a person.

When a child is brought up, the parents should teach the children to have good and productive thoughts. They can do this by physical education, stories and games. This trains the young brain to be in a place that is responsible to all. When the young becomes adult, he/she will always be a responsible person.

The person will overcome depression and angry like an intellect and be a good person. This automatically brings a person to a environment that has no depression and anger.
