The air, water and soil pollution can be eliminated by the growth of trees from the atmosphere. They release oxygen which is needed for every human being to breathe; also they absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Trees are the main importantsource of rain.
Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding. Many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals.
Just choose any of them-
TREE ONE
If a tree could talk, it would say…What a nice environment I live in. I am surrounded by other trees. A lot of birds and insects nest on my branches. Squirrels run up and down my trunk looking for nuts and acorns. This is what I see.
I see people running, jogging and going for walks by their selves, with their dogs or with their babies. I see gardeners doing their work of trying to keep the park nice. Sometimes I see people ruining all the flower gardens and plants.
I see people playing sports on the fields, particularly baseball and football. I see lots of leaves falling and changing colours on the trees in Autumn, and all the growth in Spring and Summer. In Winter, people always throw snowballs and make snowmen. If I could talk, I would say “keep this park green and keep the earth clean” as it’s a good place to live in most of the time, guys!

TREE TWO
If a tree could talk, it would say…Hi! I am an oak tree. I have lived in the Wicklow Mountains for the last one hundred years. The view here is amazing, and when it gets dark I can see all the bright lights in the city.
At this time of year, my leaves are changing from green to yellow and orange, and they will soon fall off. In the Spring time I will get new buds and they will turn into new leaves.
Sometimes squirrels store their nuts in my trunk. I also get lots of visits from all different kinds of birds. There is a lot of different wildlife living nearby.
Humans use me for two things; shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. I love living here in the forest and I hope i never get cut down!

TREE THREE
If a tree could talk, it would say…Would you like to climb on me and go up to the leaves? I can grow up to the sky and see all the birds in the sky. If I’m hungry I drink water under the plants and soil. I have branches and leaves and I am oh so long too!
When the wind blows I move. When it is Autumn the leaves fall gently to the ground and when it is Christmas the squirrel gathers up its nuts. Children play in the snow and when they are done they come home to the warm fire. I am a tree and I can see all that goes by.

TREE FOUR
If a tree could talk, it would say…Hi, my name is Henry – and what is your name? Please stop cutting us down. The people that are doing it are only harming themselves, because when we are all gone, where will you get your oxygen from?
We are also very pretty and a home for lots of animals. We also use our seeds to help other trees grow, and feed the animals. So please stop cutting us down – we are not just for paper and firewood!

TREE FIVE
If a tree could talk, it would say…“Hello, I am an oak tree, I am two hundred and fifty-nine years old. I have been a tree for a very long time. It is very sad when people come and just stick stuff on you. My name is Snowy. Please make me into paper! I would rather be paper than this old thing!”
I said, “What? Trees can’t talk – only people can!” The tree, Snowy, said, “Please don’t run away. I’m harmless. I have no friends.”
I was amazed that a tree could talk so I said, “Hello, I’m Abby. I am nine years old. I will be your friend.”
So I went and played with the tree every day after school. But when I got home, no-one would believe me. I said to my Mam, “It’s true! I’m telling you! Come on and I will show you!”
So she came, and when we got there the tree said, “Hello, I’m Snowy!” Then I said, “Do you believe me now?” to my Mam. But she ran off screaming like a baby! And myself and Snowy lived happily ever after!

TREE SIX
If a tree could talk, it would say…Stop cutting us down! We give you oxygen! And apples! If you cut us down, we would get angry and throw apples at you! We also give you shade and wood for your furniture.
Children can build tree houses and climb our branches. People can walk through forests. So treat us with respect. If you cut us down more, the whole Earth will have no trees at all! There will be no no oxygen and no life. Earth would be a doomed place!

TREE SEVEN
If a tree could talk, it would say…I am a tree and I am very very tall, but it was not always that way. I started out as a very small seed. But as time went by, I grew very tall and very strong. It took me over a hundred years to get this way. I have many branches which sprout out all over me.
I go through four seasons. In Winter time I have no leaves at all. In Spring time, small buds appear on my branches. Summer is my favourite season because all my leaves are out on my branches and they are so green. People love to sit under me for some shade when the sun is shining. In Autumn, my leaves turn golden brown and then they fall to the ground. This is called my cycle!
