I will always remember Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for his dedication to the people and prestige of India. Dr Kalam has completely submitted his life for the poor people, students and the scientists of India.

Dr Kalam became the president of India. He raised the prestige of India among the leaders of the world. I remember him for the vision of India. I remember him for the good wishes he had for Indian students.

Dr Kalam said, you have to dream before the dream comes true. He  showed it practically with his life and achievements. I will remember him for that. I also wish to become a famous rich entrepreneur and industrialist. I want to implement some of the ideals of his, in my life.

He said  "unless India stands up to the world, no one will respect us. In this world, fear has no place.  Only strength respects strength."  He tells that the world is rough and tough. I do not want my world to be so fighting oriented. But I want to build my skills and capabilities for a secure and prosperous future.

I will remember Dr. Kalam for the enormous public respect and inspiration that he puts in people and children. His appearance is special and demands respect. As the good missile man, I salute Dr Kalam. As the staunch supporter of India and what India stands for, I respect and bow in front of Dr. Kalam.

Last, but not least I will remember Dr kalam for the inventions, that very few people know of.  Dr Kalam and cardiologist Dr Raju invented a very low cost coronary stent in 1998 and in 2012 they invented a Kalam-Raju Tablet for better rural health care.

A non-controversial president and a true believer goodness and humanity, Not me alone, all people will always remember Dr. Kalam.

It is impossible not to think of Dr. Abdul Kalam, every now and them. Being a gem of a person, he continues to be a role model for many. As an individual, I will always remember him for being able to break all stereotypes and reach out to the citizens of the nation as well as represent the nation internationally.

Born in a poor family, Dr. Kalam fought all odds to make it big in life. He went from delivering newspapers to fund his own studies, to becoming the president of the world’s largest democracy. His achievements suggest that nothing is impossible, thus inspiring the multitudes.

Another reason that Dr. Kalam will always be thought of in high esteem is his vision. As the commander in chief of the entire armed forces, the icon never had a selective outlook for the nation. His thoughts were not limited to strategic thinking about the nation’s defense. Instead, he did well to reach out to the young. He was able to strike the right chord with the youth primarily because he was aware of the reality at the grass root level as well. Despite being the first citizen of India, the youth, particularly the students held an important place in his plan of things.

Though Dr. Abdul Kalam is no more, his strength of character is still remembered. With modern day politicians being involved in shameful scams, Dr.Kalam was a selfless man, whose prime focus as the president was progress. He did not amass wealth like unscrupulous leaders, but amassed great knowledge and experience, which he shared with others, in line with the characteristics of an ideal leader.
