I were a Teacher of a Noisy Class
If I were a teacher of a noisy class, I would not directly get in to teaching stuffs. Rather, I would try calming the students through some fun activities which would rightly suit their age. It’s not easy to tackle with kids with different mindsets, but it is the prior duty of the teacher to grab attention from students without stressing them.
Initially, I would go with a warm up activity and some mind games which would certainly refresh them and create interest in learning. After making the classroom atmosphere lively with various activities for few minutes, I would gradually get in to the curriculum which would certainly be an effective measure to deal with a noisy classroom. I believe this as an appropriate method of calming the students with a smile on their face rather than screaming and punishing them.
