    Scientific attitude is an approach and a way of thinking.  We examine anything that is put in front of us objectively.  We use the principles of science to check if the facts presented are valid, correct and how they are useful to us for today and in future.
 
   The opposite of scientific attitude is blind faith.  Often religion and traditions are conflicting with scientific attitude.  It is good to respect elders and follow them.  However, check them carefully with objective approach and then follow what is said.  Scientific approach allows us to avoid pitfalls and getting to wrong conclusions. 
 
   Superstitions existed in India over a long duration and these have been totally overpowered by the scientific and fresh outlook that Indians have exercised over the last few decades.  Thus India progressed a lot technologically and socially due to scientific attitude.  Scientific attitude is applicable in most of the activities that we do during the 24 hours in a day.  Even  faith on God is good as scientifically it gives a stability and peace to the mind.  That is required for good health of a person.
