Ignition value represents the minimum amount of energy required to ignite a material. If ignition value is low, it catches fire very easily.

Flammable substances have low ignition value. Eg. White phosphorus.

Paper has a very low ignition value , Sodium also has a very low ignition value , it catches fire within a moment , white phosphorus also ,
