JOURNALISM IS LITERATURE WRITTEN IN HURRY

Matthew Arnold a poet and critic once said,"journalism is literature In a hurry." my understanding to this quote is that even though journalism is writing that is shorter in length,it is still a piece of literature and must be treated as literature.as a creative writing major, I have learn that writing is an art form. to write a story,is like creating a masterpiece. the scientific form such as setting, plot ,confirm all needs to happen;but the way a writer puts them all together is the final picture. I can assume that writing for mass media is an art form that needs to be acquired by experience,studied,and observed.
