The dissemination of information is critical in the running of the society and media takes up this mantle. It ensures people are informed about the happenings in their sorroundings and other areas of the globe,provides education,entertainment,data or promotional messages.
Thus the role it plays has many impacts on all segments of the society. Government agencies use the media to communicate to the citizenry,business men use it to do business and even socio-cultural events are carried out by the use of media especially national events.
