Human beings have to follow some social norms as being social beings. These limitations of society have many qualities, including truth, non-violence, benevolence, humility and good conduct.

If we want to give a name to these qualities, they all come under virtue. Virtue is such a broad word in which society almost all the norms are followed. Therefore, virtue is the most important of the social order.

The word virtuous is compound, it is composed of two words - truth + ethics, which is the meaning of best conduct, that method of living, in which there is a co-ordination of the Sat, in which there is no such thing which can be said untrue. Virtue is the best thing in the world. Vidya, art, poetry, wealth or revenue can not compare any virtue. Virtue is an eternal source of light.
All the qualities of the world are rooted in virtue. From virtue, the body is healthy, the mind is pure and the mind is happy. Virtue shows us the way. Virtue is a huge fund of hope and trust. The virtuous man can achieve any welfare in the world.

Virtue, good age, desire for children and uneconomical riches etc. is attained. Without virtue, the life of a human being is hollow because of which he can never advance. Character is the power of virtuous person.
