It just gives me some sort of motivation and a sense of greater knowledge. Knowing that even though you go through a lot of things you can be very successful, just the way that she was.

It helps me to understand to never give up. Whether it is in school out side of school. Or just in my day to day life all together. Just look to the future not the bad times that are going on right now. But for you to look at the good times that are to come. So it is sort of the way that I live my life. And that’s the way that I wish others would live there’s as well.

My grandmother is quite an old lady. She has already crossed sixty. Her years have now bent her back a little but have not affected her activities. She is tall and thin. She is grey-haired and her humble and affectionate face is full of wrinkles.

I love her so much and she also loves me a lot. Her eye-sight, however, is quite good and she can read without spectacles. She is a religious lady and she is devoted to religion. Her devotion to God and religion never disturb the rest of the family. She is the first to leave the bed in the morning. Before we get up, she has already taken the bath with fresh water. Immediately after the bath, she goes to the nearby temple. We eagerly wait for her to come back, for she brings sweets for us.

Even at this age, she is very active and hard working. At times, we are surprised at her agility. She is the head of my family after my grandfather, she supervises all important jobs in the family. Some works she does herself.

My parents seek her advice in all matters. She likes to see the religious films. She is always seen praying to god.

At night she tells me stories. She also asks me to pay attention to my studies. She loves me very much. I love her very much and may she live long and make my life comfortable. She has taken care for me since I was a newborn baby. She has brought me up very well. She has taught me so many good things in life, she has changed my world by making me a good human being.
