The 'National
Anthem of India'
is the song
'Jana-gana-
mana'. It
composed
originally in
Bengali by
Rabindranath
Tagore. 'Jana-
gana-mana' was adopted in its Hindi version by
the Constituent Assembly as the national anthem
of India on 24 January 1950.
'Jana-gana-mana' was first sung on 27 December
1911 at the Calcutta Session of the Indian
National Congress. The complete song consists of
five stanzas. The first stanza contains the full
version of the National Anthem. Playing time of
the full version of the national anthem is

Our National Anthem was composed by Rabindranath Tagore which was adopted by the constituent assembly on January 24, 1950. It was first sung on 24 December 1911 at Kolkata. The playing duration of National Anthem is of 52 seconds approximately. The whole song consists of five stanzas. it is a song which sung by the Indian to show respect to it's nation on different occasions. it starts with “Jana Gana Mana” and ends at “Jaya he, jaya he, jaya he, jaya jaya jaya jaya he”.
Rabindranath Tagore composed it in sanskrit language and Abid Ali changed it to in Hindi language and Urdu language.
The Hindi version of the national anthem was adopted in 1950 on 24th of January. Our National Anthem is our pride and it shows our love and respect towards our nation and it spreads the message of unity among Indians.
Singing it means to show our love and respect to our great freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for us.
