Non Violence: The Strongest Tool for a Constructive Change:

"There is no such thing as defeat in Non Violence"

Gandhiji once said, "Be the change that you wish to see in this world". Due to the change in his thoughts we are now able to read this answer without anyone's permission. This feeling of freedom was instilled by a tool called Non-Violence.

According to many literary works we consider "Pen to be mightier than the sword". Literature was one of the greatest tools in those days. From the famous French Revolution till the famous autobiography of Hitler, "Mein-Kampf" all are expressed in the form of literature.

We would not have known the Great Wars such as World War without the help of a literary device. Now literary device is not always helpful and was available only to the higher class people in those days. Moreover Education and Literacy was not a thing that was available to everyone in those days.

During this period, Gandhiji came up with a tool called "Non Violence". As the name tells us, "Non" refers "not" and "Violence" refers to "Harmful acts of endangering mankind or others". According to Gandhiji, one can even win a war with this tool. Now when I say this you might even feel it foolish. But now if you are able to read this answer, it was all because of this tool.

With Violence you can also win wars and many others, but those will be accompanied with a destruction in massive scale. You can defend saying many freedom fighters died while fighting for freedom, but people who followed this tool never died.

"If you had waged a war at us, we could have killed you. But since you made us feel our guilt by Non Violence, we had no other choice than to change" These lines were said by British after giving India their freedom.

When a gun was considered to be weak before this tool, then no other tool can be considered stronger than this.

Another famous Instance was of Nelson Mandela. He started the non violent movement called the Apartheid Movement to stop racism and discrimination of black community people. Though it was a time consuming act, he earned what he needed.

There are many instances in this modern world available as literature where Non Violence saved mankind. It is said that, Until you harm an animal, even animals dont hurt you. Therefore we can say that there is no other powerful tool than Literature and Non Violence in this world which can cause a constructive change in the betterment of the society.

Thank You !!

Hiii

hey dude,

Your answer is:

Nonviolence is the personal practice of being harmless to self and others under every condition. It comes from the belief that hurting people, animals or the environment is unnecessary to achieve an outcome and refers to a general philosophy of abstention from violence. This may be based on moral, religious or spiritual principles, or it may be for purely strategic or pragmatic reasons.Nonviolence also has "active" or "activist" elements, in that believers generally accept the need for nonviolence as a means to achieve political and social change.

Hope this will help you.
