Pollution, pollution in India is a big environmental issue which has already created several problems in our country.
Pollution has become a major environment issue digging a way to a lot many health hazards as well.
In the fast few years, the pollution rate increased sharply, there are reasons for this as well, as the waste material from several industries are directly dumped into water, land, and the smoke produced is obviously mixed up with pure air in the surrounding, making it impure.
Aren't we humans killing ourselves and later on we blame each other for what has happened? Yes we do the same. 35% of India's land area is struck with excessive pollution. Water in water resources in lakes are polluted making it unsafe to drink and use. 3/4 of water is present on earth still only a small amount of water is potable.
Even the Taj Mahal isn't pure white now, marble is deposited with contaminants making it yellowish in colour, this is due to fumes emitted by Mathura refinery situated near the Taj Mahal.
Even soil is polluted now, and the harmful particles enter the plants and later we eat them, which is an indirect cause of diseases in humans.
Emission of greenhouse gases has led to climatic changes, and leaded to global warming which also lead the glaciers to melt in Antarctica, and lessening the amount of pure water. Soon there will be a day, when people will crave for pure water.
The rate at which pollution levels are increasing, no doubt in a few years population is going to decrease, and people won't be living a healthy life like they do now, they will regret later.Pollution is needed to be lowered to live a safe life.
Industrial waste is dumped directly in water which is a major threat to aquatic life, everyone has right to live, but humans rarely care for what happen to others, aquatic life is dangered. Species are extincting which is obviously not desirable.
Pollution cause many diseases as well, Air pollution causes asthma, lung cancer. Noise pollution can cause deafness, hearing problems, anxiety.
India is progressed and is progressing more, but seems progressing is directly proportional to danger to society.
We ought to save our world, save our society. Beneficial ways are needed to be applied so we can have a better environment.
We need to save and use resources in a useful manner so that it is left for future generation, also we need to treat the waste before dumping it anywhere.
We need to spread awareness regarding pollution and it's negative affects , including topic of aquatic life threat. They need to awake a positive and caring spirit in themselves for others species as well.
Employment opportunities in each city should be there so very few people migrate from place to place in search of jobs, this will not make a traffic of people in a city and pollution will be quite less.
CNG should be used in vehicle's as well.
Many organisations too helped in reducing pollution.
Our prime minister Shri Narendra Modi started 'Swattch Bharat Abhiyan' which made an effect on people's mind, some people are effected , they think twice before throwing a wrapper on road. Thanks to our PM for taking this initiative
Let's join our hands too and pledge to reduce pollution in each possible way. We can make a difference for sure. It's our country, we live in it so we ought to do something for the country too :)
