Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a born leader, poet and politician. He can be considered as one of the politicians who never misbehaved in the parliament. There have been several instances of prominent politicians crossing the line inside the parliament, but nobody can accuse Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee of misbehaviors. He was a very soft spoken person. Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a known poet and he is adored by the writers from all around India. He wrote a number of books that have gained popularity. Books like Decisive Days written in 1999, Twenty-One Poems written in 2002 have been very well accepted by the people. His skills of writing cannot be denied by anybody. As a leader he has earned the respect of his fellow politicians and leaders of other countries as well. He has a very calm character and that has made him a great leader. He was a rare prime minister of India that could challenge any film hero in regards to popularity. He is still a popular figure among the people of the younger generation. His way of dealing with challenges has made him a much respected person among all the leaders that have led India till today.

Born on 25th December 1924, Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the 10th Prime Minister of India. He is also considered to be a great statesman of India. For thirteen days he became the prime minister of India in 1966and again from 1998 till 2004. Besides being a politician he was an excellent poet also. He was respected throughout the world and was a popular and honest politician in India. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also the external affair minister under  Prime Minister Morarji Desai. Even today, his speech in Hindi at the United Nations General Assembly is still recalled as one of the best speeches. He tried to improve relation with Pakistan while he was the prime minister in 1998. Being criticized by everyone, he moved forward towards the betterment of the country and traveled through Lahore bus. He was depicted to be the fearless man and took bold steps. He was awarded Bharat Ratna on 27th March 2015. However, he was known as the man of the millennium as he knew how to lead a country.
