South Korea, officially known as the Republic of Korea, country in northeastern Asia that occupies the southern portion of the Korean Peninsula.

South Korea, also called the morning calm, is a country in East Asia, with Seoul as its capital.
The country is majorly covered with mountains with valleys and coastal plains.
It has two volcanic islands and a beautiful shallow Yellow Sea.
