Taj Mahal is a very beautiful monument built in 17th century by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Begum mumtaz Mahal. She was his thrid wife whom he loved dearly. After her death, the king became very sad and built this amazing white monument spending lots of money, several lives and days. He used to look at this monument from the agra fort as a remembrance. This monument is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh which is spread on a wide space. It is one amongst the most beautiful man made wonders and one amongst the seven wonders of the world. Being close to Delhi, the capital city of India, it is one of the most popular spot for tourist attractions. After the death of Shah Jahan he has been buried over here next to his wife in the Taj Mahal
