Terrorist threat in bordering villages is quite high. The villagers living on border are at terrorists' mercy. In the dark dead of night, they can infiltrate any time and target the innocent villagers. This situation is quite serious in the North-east states of Asam and Nagaland. People live in perpetual fear of being attacked by the terrorists. At times they threaten the poor villagers and have to work as their accomplices. The Indian Government must take measures to control the terrorist problem there. Anti-infiltration mechanism must be installed in such areas. The border must either be secured by constructing a fence or by installing sensors and radars. The BSF must always be on its guard to foil any infiltration bid by the terrorists. And the local people should cooperate with the army.
