The president of ‘South Korea’:
Moon Jae-in is the current president of South Korea from the year of 2017. He is from the Democratic Party of Korea and was elected as a 19th president of the country. He is born in geoje in the year of 1953 in South Korea. He was eldest among the other five children of his mother 'Kang Han-ok' and father 'Moon Yong-Hyung'.
After graduating as a lawyer, he worked together with Roh Moo-hyun who is the former South Korea president in the year 2003 to 2008. He has begun his political activities in the year of 2012 by winning the National Assembly member seats with 55% of the vote. After that, he became a leader of the 'Democratic party of Korea' in the year of 2015.
Then, he won the nomination of Democratic Party for the presidential election by beating fellow members Lee Jae-Myung, Ahn Hee-Jung, and Choi Sung with 57 percent of votes.
