Answer:
It was a dark and stormy night. Everyone was asleep except me. A sound was being heard by me that was haunting me since I shifted here. Everyday I would just ignore it but today was different. Today, it was Halloween. Finally, when I fell asleep, I was woken up by thirst at midnight. The sounds were not coming so I decided to go in the kitchen downstairs for water.
When I was downstairs in the hall, the sounds started. I quickly went into the kitchen, took a glass of water and turned behind only to find a dark shadow over me. I was unable to move. Suddenly, the moon came out from behind the clouds and its light helped me to see more clearly. That was when I noticed, IT WAS A GHOST! The ghost moved towards me and said in a deep voice, "What are you doing in my house?"
I was shocked. It was my house. Me and my family had bought it few days ago. "Answer me," said the ghost again. I said, "It is my house. We shifted here some days ago. A little do I remember that a palace stood in its place and it was broken by some workers and then they built a house there. Afterward, I bought it."
The ghost looked sad. Then he looked at me with a cunning smile and was going to grab me when the first rays of the sun came in and he turned into sand.
That was when I got up from sleep. I realized all of this was a dream.
