Explanation:

Have you ever imagined a day without water? Well I have. First, you wouldn’t get to take a shower and if you don’t take a shower, you are going to stink. In addition, in the morning, you won’t get to brush your teeth and your teeth with stink. If you have a little brother or sister, they would be thirsty.

If you like playing sports outside like me, you would be dehydrated. Next, if it’s in the summer and you cut the grass, you would be dehydrated after you are done. Also, if we didn’t have water for a day, we would not get to water the plants and they could die. Then, if you go to the bathroom, you can’t flush because you don’t have water and your house will stink. You will also get frustrated when you think you have water when you don’t. Other kids won’t have that much fun because they need water balloons to pay and swim.

Those are all the reasons what would happen if there was no water for a day. So you should be thankful for water

Explanation:

Water, a simple compund made of hydrogen and oxygen combined the ratio 2:1 is one of the most essential components required for the survival of man. It is said that human beings cannot live without water for more than 3 days. On a Saturday morning, I woke up to find no water running from the tap.

It was a major shock for me. As per my schedule, I went to the washroom and found no water there. There was absolutely no water for me to brush my teeth. I did not know how I would make do without taking a bath. It was a larger problem for my parents whose major chores depended on water.

My mother did not know what to cook for the day's meal without the use of water. Every recipe that she was aware of used water. Finally, she ended up baking cake and we ate it with marmalade. Somehow, for half a day we survived without water but as time passed by, our throats became parched. We were unable to retain our thirst. So, being left without an alternative, my father went to a nearby grocery store to buy a 10 litres of water for the family to drink and carry out other essential chores. To our surprise, the grocery store was out of stock of water because almost everybody had already bought water.

Atlast, at around six, to our pleasure, a few drops of water ran down the tap. What a moment of relief it was! It was now that I understood the true value of water. I promised myself then that I would never again waste a drop of water. I learnt it the harder way but I do not repent the water cut because it taught me a lesson.
