Mizoram belongs to one of the seven sisters states in North - East region of India, having Aizwal as its capital. It is a relatively new state as it was declared to be one of the Indian States in 1987.

The states shares its borders with that of Assam, Manipur and Tripura. Also, it shares international borders with Bangladesh and Myanmar.

Mizoram is a beautiful state, covering an area of 2.1 million hectares and population of approximately 1.09 million.
