If one is going on holiday for two weeks and no family member is staying back, then the best option is to take either a friend’s help or a relative’s help. Either of them can be requested to sleep at your home at night. During the day the house can be locked. However, the house should not be left unoccupied altogether.
If the house is left unoccupied, thieves may break into at night and take away the valuable articles in the house, which will deprive you of the fun and joy you must be having during the holidays and you may have to return cutting short your holidays.
