HEY MATE. HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

Mendel took a tall heighted pea plant (TT) and a short heighted pea plant (tt).
He then did the self pollination of both of them.. The result was that all the plants that were produced were tall. Actually they all were Tt but since T is more dominant they all were tall. Let this generation be F1 progeny.

He then cross pollinated the plants that were produced in F1 progeny. Here the result was a different one. One quarter of that was the short plant. Three plants that were produced in F2 progeny were tall and one was short. Therefore, the ratio was 3:1

The pollination of both the progenies are shown in the given picture.
