Estimate the number of electrons in 100 g of water. How much is the total negative charge on these electrons ?

so 100g of water means=100/18 moles of water. Now 1 molecule of water contains 1×8 electron of oxygen and 2×1 electron of hydrogen=10 electron per molecule. Therefore total number of electrons in 100g of water=total molecule in 100g water × number of electrons in each molecules= (100/18)×10 moles=55.555 Farrad
