ethanoic acid react with calcium

Calcium is an active metal, so it will reduce the hydrogen ions on acids to form calcium ions and hydrogen gas: 

Ca + 2CH3COOH ----> Ca2+ + 2CH3COO- + H2 
I'm not sure what the "word equation" is...in words, the reaction is ethanoic acid + calcium ----> calcium ethanoate + hydrogen
