Morals are beliefs held by a group or person regarding right and wrong.  Morals are the rules by which the group/person lives.  The group can be small such as a 4 person family or large, such as Catholics worldwide.  Morals are generally referred to in declarative or directive statements - examples include the Ten Commandments or the Boy Scout Oath.

Ethics are the principles by which a person judges a situation and makes a decision.  Ethics are generally are referred to in 1-3 word phrases that have specific connotations.  Example:   BSA's "The Scout Law."
