Values are the rules by which we make decisions about right and wrong, should and shouldn't, good and bad. They also tell us which are more or less important, which is useful when we have to trade off meeting one value over another.

You can have professional ethics, but you seldom hear about professional morals. Ethics tend to be codified into a formal system or set of rules which are explicitly adopted by a group of people. Thus you have medical ethics. Ethics are thus internally defined and adopted, whilst morals tend to be externally imposed on other people.

ETHIES AND VALUES ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN ONE'S LIFE. THEY TEACH US GOOD MANNERS AND ETIQUETTS. THEY HELP US IN HELPING OTHERS. THEY CREATE AN EMPATHETIC FEELING IN US. THEY TEACH US SIMPLE LIVING AND HIGH THINKING. OVER ALL, A PERSON WITH GOOD VALUES ALWAYS OUTSHINES OTHERS IN EVERY FIELDS.

shivanisurbhi: ETHICS AND VALUE, BOTH ARE RELATED TO EACH OTHER. VALUE DENOTES DEGREE OF IMPORTANCE IN OUR LIFE. WHERE AS ETHICS TELLS US ABOUT THE HOW TO PUT VALUE(IMPORTANCE) IN THAT. IT HELPS US TO FIND THE CORRECT WAY AND MORAL VALUES IN OUR LIFE. IF A PERSON IS HAVING MORAL VALUES THEN THAT PERSON IS RESPECTED EVERYWHERE BECAUSE HE KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME, CULTURE, NORMS AND SOCIETIES. ETHICS IS ALSO KNOWN AS PHILOSOPHY.
