Etta and Ralph are riding around a track on their bikes. They start together at exactly the same time.
Etta takes 60 seconds to complete one lap.
Ralph takes 48 seconds.
After how many seconds do they cross the start line at exactly the same time?

{\huge{\pink{\underline{\underline{\purple{\mathbb{\bold{\mathcal{AnSwEr..}}}}}}}}}

For this we have to find the LCM of 60 and 48.

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{So,}}}}}

\implies60 = 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 5 \\  \\ \implies48 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Therefore, }}}}}

=》 LCM = 2×2×2×2×3×5

=》 LCM = 4×4×15.

=》 LCM = 4×60.

= LCM = 240.

Therefore after 240 seconds they will cross the starting line at the same time.
