Euclid's Axiom Say "Whole is greater than its part" Mathematically, If A+B=C then, A<C and B<C as well. Is the Above quoted statement True?

according to Euclid's axiom the statement "whole is always greater than a part".Here A+B=C
So it's true
for better understanding u can take example of apple.How u divide depends on u.But the other helper's example is quite simplified than mine.

if A and B only add up to C then it C is supposed to be larger than A as well as B
say for example:
3+4=7
here, we can take 3=A; 4=B and C=7
it is very clear that 7 is greater than 3 as well as 4.
so whatever was stated by you is totally correct.
