Answer:

(a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab

(2a-1/2)(2a-1/2)

(2a-1/2)²=(2a)²+(1/2)²-2(2a)(1/2)=4a²+1/4-2a

Answer:

given \: that \\ (2a -  \frac{1}{2} )(2a -  \frac{1}{2} )  \\ =  >  {(2a -  \frac{1}{2} })^{2}  \\ we \: know \: that \:  {(a - b)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  - 2ab +  {b}^{2}  \\ here \: a = 2a \: and \: b =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  {(2a)}^{2}  - 2(2a)( \frac{1}{2} ) +  { (\frac{1}{2}) }^{2}  \\  =  > 4 {a}^{2}  - 2a +  \frac{1}{4}  \\  \:  (2a -  \frac{1}{2} )(2a -  \frac{1}{2} ) = 4 {a}^{2}  - 2a +  \frac{1}{4}
