Step-by-step explanation:

Cos^2.30°-sin^2.60°+2 tan^2.45°

= (√3/2)^2 -(√3/2)^2 +2(1)^2

Cancelation for (3/2)^2 -(3/2)^2...,

(OR)

(3/2)^2 -(3/2)^2 = 0

= 2(1)^2

= (2)^2

= 4

:. Cos^2.30° - sin^2.60° + 2 tan^2.45° = 4

_______.. THE END .._______

1

we know that cos 30° = root 3/2, sin 60°=root3/2 and tan 45°=1

so the equation we have is

(root3/2)^2-(root3/2)^2+2×1

2

so the required answer is 2
